Procedure for Addition of a Course:

·        Addition requests will be accepted through Google form:

·        The addition process will start from 7:30 PM on 21.01.2019.   

·        The list of seats available for addition in various elective courses is displayed on the website (Seats_available_for_Addition.pdf). This list is only indicative. Students can apply for other courses also but that will be considered on case-by-case basis.

·        Based on the availability of seats, a student can apply for the addition of only one course latest by 5:00 PM on 22.01.2019. The criteria for the addition of course will be as follows:

o   As per the semester wise pattern for First Degree students of various disciplines, requests for the Humanities elective courses will be processed in the order starting from second year to final year based on the priority number (reverse order) of a student.

o   Requests for the discipline and open elective courses (other than Humanities) will be processed in the order starting from final year to second year based on the priority number (reverse order) of a student.

o   Students should ensure that the requested course for addition fits in the existing timetable without any clash. Addition request will automatically stands cancel if it creates clash.

o   The repeat request will be processed in the order starting from final year to second year based on the priority number (reverse order) of a student and previous grade obtained in the subject (Students with E and D grades will be given priority).

·        Check your final course package for the semester after completion of addition exercise by 5:00 PM on 23.01.2019.

Procedure for Substitution of course(s):

·        Substitution requests will be accepted through ERP website.

·        The substitution process will start from 7:30 PM on 17.01.2019.  

·        The list of seats available for substitution in various elective courses is displayed on the website (http://rc).

·        Based on the availability of seats, a student can apply for the substitution of course(s) as per the procedure given on the website (http://rc) latest by 11:59 PM on 18.01.2019. The criteria for the substitution of course(s) will be as follows:

o   As per the semester wise pattern for First Degree students of various disciplines, requests for the Humanities elective courses will be processed in the order starting from second year to final year based on the priority number (reverse order) of a student.

o   Requests for the discipline and open elective courses (other than Humanities) will be processed in the order starting from final year to second year based on the priority number (reverse order) of a student.

·        Check your final course package for the semester after completion of substitution exercise by 1:00 PM on 21.01.2019.

·        After completion of substitution exercise, based on the availability of seats, addition process will start on 21.01.2019 at 7:00 PM.

·        One course can be substituted by only another (one)  course. Requests with multiple substitutions for a single course will be invalidated.

·         When you try to substitute out from a core course (of any discipline), you will get error saying that “you need department consent”. Please come to AUGSD and submit through a request form.

 

·        Substitution requests of ACB students will be accepted manually. Should be submitted by 5PM 18th Jan 2019.
